Vaksauhrudam 4

 

The fourth meeting of the Book Lovers' Club was held on 17th September 2021 on Google Meet. It commenced with Welcome Speech delivered by Krishnapriya Santhosh of II BA Politics. As part of Valmeekam, Hanna Mary Paul of II BA History talked about the well-known Malayalam author VKN. 

A book presentation on Jack London's The Call of the Wild was done by Anju A Prabhu of II MA English, which was followed by a discussion. A fun quiz was also conducted, in which the participants were asked to unscramble the jumbled letters to identify names of famous fictional characters. The meeting concluded with Vote of thanks delivered by Elsa George of III BA English.

Vaksauhrudam 3

 The third meeting of the Book Lovers' Club was held on 10th September, 2021 on Google Meet. It began with a Welcome Speech delivered by Naveena Jinendran of II DC English. As part of Valmeekam, Afa Abdul Azeez of II DC English did a brief presentation on the poet T S Eliot. A book presentation on the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens was done by Subhana K A of III DC BCom. A fun quiz was conducted in which the audience was asked to identify the literary works and their authors from various movie adaptations. The meeting concluded with Vote of Thanks by Ganga V S of III DC English.

 The second meeting of the Book Lovers' Club was held on 3rd September 2021 on Google Meet. The meeting began with a Welcome Speech delivered by Nirmal J George of II DC English. As part of Valmeekam, Annsmariya Johnny of II DC Politics did a presentation on the Malayalam writer Perumbadavom Sreedharan. Adithya Raju of III DC Maths presented the novel Ram c/o Anandhi written by Akhil P Dharmajan. The meeting concluded with Vote of Thanks delivered by Gayathri Sahajan of III DC English.
