The Book Lovers' Club conducted a total of thirteen meetings from October 2020- March 2021.
On 31 October 2020, the first meeting of this academic year was held on Google Meet in order to discuss the activities of the club for the year, in which the following students were selected as the office bearers of the club.

Owing to the circumstances induced by Covid-19, it was decided to conduct weekly online meetings on Google Meet. In spite of the limitations, students of various departments participated in the different activities of the club.
In addition to the usual Book Presentations in the weekly meetings, the club introduced a new activity called Valmeekam, a 3-5 minute long presentation about prolific writers.

Quiz
To make the meetings more interactive, informative as well as interesting, informal quizzes were introduced in which the club members participated enthusiastically. Each week, the quiz was organised in a different manner.
Online activities
During the days of examinations when it was difficult to organise weekly online meetings, we tried to avoid an inactive phase by introducing a new activity called Vagdalam. The club members posted brief book recommendations/ book reviews in the form of a write-up, an audio or a picture in the club's official WhatsApp group.

Book Donation
The Book Lovers' Club collected and donated a total of 48 books on 22 March 2021 as part of setting up a library for the Govt. Tribal UP School, Karipalangadu, Idukki, an initiative by the College Library and the Library and Information Science Department.
Competition
The annual Book Presentation competition "വാങ്മയം" organised by the club was conducted online this year in March.
The participants were asked to send their entries as 7-10 minute long video recordings. The results were announced on 5 April 2021 through the club's official WhatsApp group.
