My Days is the autobiography of R. K. Narayan, a pioneer Indian writer in English.  The presentation threw light on some interesting facts about the writer and his experiences and friendship with popular figures of the time which helped him in his journey towards becoming a leading writer of his time.

Vagrasika- A Workshop on Book Appreciation

      A one day workshop on book appreciation, 'Vagrasika' was organised by the Book Lovers' Club on September 30, 2015. The English session in the morning was led by the veteran English professor, Dr. C. S. Jayaraman ( Amruta School of Arts and Science) and the Malayalam session in the afternoon was engaged by the popular Malayalam poet, Sri Sreekumar Mukhathala, ( Programme Executive, All India Radio). Around sixty students from degree and postgraduate courses of various departments attended the workshop.

This book is a translation of  Unbowed: A Memoir, the autobiographical work of the African nature activist, Wangari Mathai. The presenter gave a straightforward account of the challenges that Wangari Mathai faced in her journey from a rural Kenyan woman  to a well known figure in the world.

A collection of famous opening lines of selected works from World Literature was displayed in colourful charts by the Book Lovers' Club. Each chart contained the essential details of the particular book on the left side and the quote on its right.
